Hey everyone,
I was hoping to get some advice on how to handle wiping down EXTREMELY soft interior plastics. The clear plastic gear shift selector (attached picture) in my car seems to get scratched from something as gentle as dust floating by it. I had a similar car before my current one that had a ton of scratches on this piece and it drove me nuts so I am extra careful around this one but I am still ending up with scratches. It is to the point now where I am just trying to blow the dust off with an air compressor because I am afraid to scratch it any more with microfiber.
Any suggestions on a towel or tool to clean this piece without causing scratches? I have even considered custom-fitting a cell phone screen protector over it...
