I used this product Bilt Hamber double speed wax on two cars

a black and a silver

on the silver, paint feels slick, water beats and sheets off real quick, nice and shiny looking

but on the black car??? Looks impressive once buffed but next day in the sun, looks like it's all hazed over. Cloudy looking. It just wipes off and looks shiny. Then a short time later in the sun, hazing cloudy look is back.

quick wipe and looks good, process keeps repeating. Been two weeks

does this wax just not like black? Seems like it's never settled, looks terrible when it's cloudy and hazed over. Loses all its shine

what am I doing wrong? Product was applied thin.

Apply thin to cool panels in a shaded area. Allow 10 minutes to dry to a haze then wipe off. Occasionally under certain humid application conditions the applied film may bloom after initial application and buffing. The bloom will disappear once the film is fully cured, or it can be removed immediately by a wipe down with a slightly damp buffing cloth.

I find Double Speed and Collinite 476S to be near identical in everything biz. Looks and durability. If you own one you don’t need the other.
