I have always 3-step detailed my white 2016 Silverado and all vehicles before it each year. This fall I'm working 13 days in a row, off 1, then repeat until the end of the year. So to save on time, a very well known and reputable detail shop is offering a ceramic coating package. Is this a good offer? Or am I being fooled by the shiny cars?

$275 doesnt seem bad for a coating on a Silverado. Be sure what products they are using for prep though. Dont want a coating over swirls and scratches etc.

Only thing I can think he meant by protection is they re do it every year? And I'm assuming he means maybe an AIO machine application ? Think I might ask just to be nosy.

Ceramic coating will not bond on Glaze or any AIO, you can forget 1 year protection here, it would be just months. It would be much better if they use word polish then seal.

I'm guessing they do a complete removal of all polishes and waxes before applying the ceramic coating....
