Say your car just has light dust and you are doing a waterless wash. How many 16x16 towels will you go through?
Thanks,
Rich

2-3 tops. Not including wheels.

I fold mine so that I can get 16 fresh wipes out of them. I also do a slightly different waterless process in that I soak the rag vs leaving it dry. I just cant spritz and wipe with dry rags. I just can't.
That said, I usually use four rags. 3 to wash/wipe and one to dry and buff.

Interesting... Typically 5-6, more on my SUV. Lower panels always take more towels than I'd like, even in dry weather. And if I'm having to wash towels a few more doesn't matter. Maybe I'm overly cautious.

I use one BRS and then some older rags for wheels. Pre-soak the paint and do a 2BM with the sponge.

I fold mine the same and find I use 3-4 for a midsize truck. I think if I was real strict about one pass per edge I would go through a dozen or more.

The correct answer is: AT LEAST 1 towel per panel. 2 for the hood. Maybe 2 for the door panel depending on your vehicle. I use 1 towel for 2 wheels and use designated wheel towels, not my best washless/rinseless towels.
Fold towels so you have 8 clean sides. Wipe each side 1 time, rolling the towel so that as you move down your wipe path, you are exposing fresh towel to the surface.
