Chrome Wheel Help

I had a guy approcach me while doing a detail asking if there was anything I could do for his wheels.

While he was there, I QD'd a small part and tried chrome polish... not much help. then I tried to clay the rim, not alot there either.

so is there any other methods that would work??

You could try a strong chrome polish with one of the buffing balls attached to a drill, but that looks pretty bad with rust.

What chrome polish did you use?

In your 2006 Dodge thread you used S100 Polishing Soap (looks great by the way). How about that with a scotch brite pad rather than the sponge? If that didn't do it move to different levels of steel wool. Nothing to lose on those pitted areas.

RL chrome polish... it's good stuff. I guess what I'm looking for is something to help out with the pitting... but i don't think that's gonna happen

you need to get some wool cutting heads (called Mushrooms). They will repair minor etching and even some rust. Use with a high speed drill and a good chrome polish.

Tried some PB spray& rinse, and let it set in a little. Then use scotch brite or steel wool.
