I know there's a ton of information about each of the various coatings, but that also means there's a million places to find it.
What I was hoping to do was have folks chime in with what coatings they've used, and a Cliff's Notes summary of their thoughts on them.
Things like ease of application, water spot/bird bomb/bug resistance, longevity, whatever might be good to know.
Hopefully this could help those of us new to the coating game get a better grasp on which one would be a good fit for them.
An example could be:
Coating X
Pros: Candy gloss, resists dust build up
Cons: Sticky wipe off during application, bird bombs etch if not caught quickly
So far, I've only gotten my winter wheels coated - so I can only start off with:
Optimum Gloss Coat (Used on wheels)
Pros: Very user friendly application, great candy gloss
Cons: N/A - Not in use enough for feedback yet.
