Greetings all,

I ordered a new Mini Cooper S Clubman and it’s on a very slow boat from England at the moment. When I told the dealer not to wash it in any way when it comes in, the sales person looked at me sideways but the sales manager smiled and said “he knows what he’s doing”.

Anyways I’m putting an order together to get ready for the big arrival and want to make sure I’m not missing a step. I’ve been dying to try out some of the McKee’s line to my plan was to get their paint coating kit and give it a try. Am I missing anything:

1. Decontaminate with McKees iron remover
2. Wash the car
3. Clay
4. Polish with Pinnacle paint cleaning polish on a white pad (because I already have it)
5. McKee’s paint coating on the whole car and rims
6. McKee’s window coating all around and on the panoramic sunroof
7. McKee’s tire gel

I’m hoping there isn’t any damage that necessitate a heavier polishing step.

Here’s a rendering of the car if there are any other Mini fans on here:
