Hey all,

So I'm looking for a spray wax (either Synthetic or Carnauba) which can be used in direct sunlight.

Wonder what everyone's favorite is, and why.

I already know spray waxes only last a few weeks in terms of protection... I plan on using WGDGPS 3.0 as my base sealant, and keep a simple wax on it every 2 weeks.

Meguiars express wax. Darren of Auto fetish detailing has a video of him praising Express wax. I had two gallons and am down to one. Smells good.

In direct Florida sun DoDo Tropical Mist is amazing, including on black paint. It has a great lubricity to it that keeps it from flashing and drying to quickly.

Tropical Protection Detailer, Dodo juice Detailer, Dodo juice red mist (http://www.autogeek.net/dodo-juice-sealant-detailer.html)

Would you be surprised to find
out that isn't always the case?

Wolfgang Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant

One of the number one reasons I love it is because I have been able to use it in direct sunlight with no issues.

Sonax Spritz and Meguiars Ultimate Quik Wax work well for me in bright sunlight

Another vote for D156. Bonus is that it works equally well on pretty much every exterior surface; glass, plastic, paint, faux-chrome trim, etc.

It's really a great product.

My vote is for UQW. (D156)

Btw, I'm more than a little disappointed that the small 6 oz sized bottles of UQW have now been discontinued at AG.
They were a steal of a deal, so I can't say I am totally shocked to see them go away.
I really liked the scent of UQW over D156, but it looks like this will finally force me over to D156 fully now.

Those 6 oz bottles were priced less per oz than the gallon sized bottles of D156, so it's not wonder they were done away with.

it was a great deal that flew under the radar for a while, but looks like it's finally been killed off.

Oh well, It was nice while it lasted.
