I accidentally clean the side mirror with degreaser. It removed all dirt, grime successfully but it left behind etch water stains.
I tried cleaning with water, dish detergent soap without any success.
I even tried to clean it with meguiar glass cleaner. the mirror is clean of dirt but when it dries up; the same water stains still remain on the mirror.

How can I remove stubborn water stains on mirror?

You could try vinegar and baking soda. Through in a magic eraser. Then apply a wax or sealant to the mirror

I believe your side mirror has a film, so be careful.

OI would do this and see. I used to clean my jet ski from fresh water spots and vinegar worked great. Maybe try a clay bar or nanoskin with the vinegar.
