Question about touch-up paint

I would like to apply touch-up paint on my car. I was wondering whether special prep is required for the application of touch-up paint. Also, is it advisable to apply touch-up paint on freshly-waxed and sealed surfaces? My car was detailed 3 weeks ago with 2 coats of Klasse sealant and one coat of Collinite 845.

Additional info: my car is 7 years old. It is always kept in garage. It is rarely driven.

Clean chip or scratch out with mineral sprits and apply thin coats and let rest a few hours between coats. If your planning to wet sand to level out the repair..build up the repair with multiple coats.

If this is your first time wet sanding, I would highly recommend that you practice on a practice panel first as it is very easy to strike through oem paint.
