I apologize if this has been addressed. I had a Honda Accord with alloy wheels and they had a coating. It was almost like a clear coat. And over time it peeled off in some areas. I have bought a new one with the same wheels. My questions:

1. What should I be cleaning them with to prevent them from peeling?

2. Is there anything I can apply that would prevent peeling?

3. What is a good TIRE cleaner that wouldn't affect the coating on the wheel?

Thanks in advance!!

Tuf Shine tire cleaner doesn't seem to hurt the Gtechniq wheel armor on my car. I try not to get it on the rims still.

As for your rims peeling, not sure if cleaning them improperly caused that or poor quality from the manufacture. I would think that the issue lies beneath the coating, not on top of it.

Perhaps. That does make sense. Hopefully I don't have the issue with this car. Thanks for the info, I'll have to check it out.
