Could use some advice today on this project it seems that the Harley's carbon fiber panels are not clear coated and the customer would like to keep that matte look rather the shine, my question is what would be the best method for achieving this goal? Also what's good for cleaning up rust from chrome and aluminum ?5933859339593405934159342593435934459345593465934 859349

Hey there. To decontaminate the matte carbon fiber, you can use Dr. Beasley's Matte Paint Cleanser (http://www.autogeek.net/dr-beasleys-matte-cleanser.html). Then we'd STRONGLY recommend coating it with Dr. Beasley's Matte Paint Coating (http://www.autogeek.net/dr-beasleys-matte-coating.html) to protect from staining, fading, and etching for 1-2 years. Matte Paint Coating goes on wet and bonds instantly.

Feel free to DM us with any product questions! We're always happy to help.

We're on Amazon Prime if that's an option for you. To keep the carbon fiber matte, just make sure you get nothing on the area that contains ANY silicones, fillers, or other shining agents. Don't polish the carbon fiber. You can use diluted isopropyl alcohol to clean the matte carbon fiber, but it will only do light cleaning and will not truly decontaminate. It's best to have some matte-friendly products in your product arsenal so you're always prepared for a situation such as this.
