So another member of our racing group picked up a new to him 2010 VW Minivan aka a Chrysler Town and Country wearing VW Badges and wanted it cleaned up inside. He got an awesome deal on a 115,000 mile vehicle but the downside is that it was completely trashed inside. It was recently repossessed so go figure. It had several clear signs of abuse.

Looked like a kids baseball team frequently road inside after their games and never changed their clothes or shoes
It clearly had windows and sunroof left open and lots of water and dirt stains
Lots of sprayed soda's and juice from the headliner to the floor.
Overall the only thing going for it was that it appears to have had front floor matts for part of it's life but otherwise, it needed a through cleaning and disinfecting.

Process involved:

Steam, steam and more steam. Steam makes easy work of most dirt and grime emulsifying oils and crud so that it can be extracted or wiped away. In this case the steamer was paired with an extractor and a couple dozen MF Towels too.
3 rounds of Ozone treatments, 2hrs each, including a nice cycling of the HVAC to kill any bacteria there.
Leather treatment applied

I didn't get any before pics as it was dropped off late in the day and the detail was done in the evening. However, picture a very grimey dirt laden vehicle with several cans of coke sprayed inside. Yeah, it was that bad.

All that really counts is the end result which turned out quite well. Many thanks to Matt and his wife for trusting me with their new ride. Once they swap out some bits and parts from their 09 VW Van he may consider a detail for the outside too. I look forward to turning that like new as well. Until then enjoy the clean and fresh interior!
