This is a detail that I have been waiting for awhile now. My client told me several weeks ago that he was taking “Euro Delivery” of a 2008 Audi R8. When I heard this I immediately got goosebumps and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. The client was fortunate enough to travel overseas and drive the car, pick it out, and tour the Audi facility as part of the package and shipment to the United States.

On Wednesday, I got the call from the client saying his car had cleared Customs and he was driving it. Since he had refused dealer prep he asked if I could come over this weekend to detail it. Needless to say after a crappy week at work, I was looking forward to taking care of it.

As you know the weather here in the Northeast was a balmy 36 degrees today and I was not looking forward to an outside wash. Luckily I was able to brave the cold and get it inside of a warm garage for the completion of the detail.

Upon arrival I found that the owner had been enjoying it some and it has seen the ravages of some of the landscaping work that was occurring on his property. The driveway was very muddy for the entire detail and it was frustrating to pull the car out of the garage and have the tires get muddy and get dirt all over the pedals. I was able to “grin and bear it” and have a great day with an awesome car.

Interior Shot-excuse the dirt on the pedals. You couldn't get in and out of the car without getting dirt somewhere. They were wiped down when the car was finally put away.

What a beautiful car and a real nice job. But get the driveway paved with
something, those interlocking blocks might be nice.

Great car Pat but I don't care much for the color combinations. The house looks familiar from some of your previous details but I don't remember what his other cars were. Looks like a nice client and you always do a great job.
