M06 or M07 to help clear coat?

I was sure I read a recent discussion recently where Mike recommended M06 or M07 to help take some haze out of clear coat. I can't find it, and I've read that failing clear is generally not repairable. A friend just showed me two hazy spots on his '07 Subaru hood and I was tying to find that article to see if there was any hope.

Anybody recall this?
