So I have completed the machine polishing sage on my 2009 gtr and the paint is looking great in it's naked form , I'm now ready for coating and I have 2 choices I have gtechniq csl and exo or I have some swissvax crystal rock .. two very different products that each has there plus point and negative points I'm debating with myself what to coat the car in I like the scratch protection provide by csl but I'm a big wax fan and I love the gloss the swissvax crystal rock provides although no scratch protection and not the lifespan of csl so what do think geeks wax or ceramic what's your preference???

IMO:
Three "Test Spot"(TS)-applications
may actually be needed in order to
make a final LSP-determination.

1.) A TS-application consisting of
only the GTechniq CSL/EXO combo.

2.) A TS-application consisting of
only the Swissvax Crystal Rock.

3.) A TS-application consisting of the
GTechniq CSL/EXO combo---"topped"
with an application of the Swissvax
Crystal Rock.

I am a firm believer in the CSL/EXO combination. Due to circumstances and lately health problems I haven't washed my car in over a month and it has been outside 24/7 for the last 3 weeks. I don't drive a lot but have put maybe 500 miles on it in that time a couple times in the rain. Last nite we had a good thunder storm and it pretty much cleaned anything that was on it off (except the wheels and license plate area) and looked so good I took a couple pictures of it.

My car is coated with CSL/EXO I have WG Uber coating on my trim and wheels with Polish Angel Kristal/Rain on my windshield and GTech G1 on my rear glass.

Unless ypou zoomed in on the wheels or license plate area you can not tell it wasn't just washed

Crystal Rock will give you a deeper wet look and csl will look more plastic (reflective) looking. That's some expensive wax, use it.

Coat it and then apply a layer of wax when want to feel warm and fuzzy. Best of both worlds.

Is your GTR the one in your avatar? I love using coatings these days, but if your GTR isn't a daily driver and the one I pictured, I'd go with the wax. Something about the look of a black car covered in a premium wax really gets me. I love the look.
