I'm Jim, and currently live in Moorestown, NJ. I'm retired military, and just purchased a new car which I intend to keep as close to new condition minus the dealer installed swirls as possible. I've been doing most of my auto maintenance by hand up to this point, but soon plan on stepping up my game with the purchase of a DA and assorted pads to maintain the finish on my new daily driver. Now I have a hobby/obsession to occupy my time. I've already posted my first question, and am sure I'll be posting more as time goes by. So many products and tools to maintain the interior and exterior of my ride to choose from. I for see a lot of experimentation with them until I settle on what appeals best to me for the results I want.

Off to the how to section, to see what I've been doing wrong in some areas, and to check products and see what everybody else is using for particular tasks.

Hi Jim, welcome to AGO, and Thank You for your service. Don't worry about occupying your time, be worried about your wallet! I do it as a hobby as well. What kind of car did you purchase?
