Just had my bumper repainted and was wondering how long before I can polish and put a coat of paint sealant. I like the Wolfgang line . Also is it safe to apply with porter cable da or just stick by hand for now . Thanks in advance

You should ask the person who painted your bumper. It depends on the paint they used. Rule of thumb, a minimum of 30 days. With some paint it can be as long as 90 days.

Typical time to gas off in summer months is about 30 days. You can compound, polish/correct it as soon as you get it back, just be sure to use silicon free products. I really liked 3D AAT 505. Corrects like HDSpeed but safe for new paint and provides decent protection. Park the car in the sun and let it bake as it helps gas off faster. As noted above however, find out the manufacturer of the paint used and contact them. BASF is 30 days.

You can use this on fresh paint. It is what I used after I got my car from the paint shop.

Most will say 30 days to out gas, however, if it was baked, you can wax it right away. I have used a paint sealant on several bumpers that were heat cured with no adverse effect.
