Hey guys,

Like the title states, how effective is Optimum polish as just a finishing polish? I have used SSR2.5 on a car, and I'd like to remove some minor marring and small thin lines.

I realize that Optimum is a versatile polish and i'd like to use that on a white LC CCS pad, will that enable it to finish to a nice shine of depth and gloss?

The finish of the car is BLACK and it's a metallic paint. I don't have 106ff because I would assume that would be better (although it's used with a black LC pad which I can't figure out how it corrects).

Anyways, your thoughts? is it too aggressive to use it or should I up or down the pad or dosage of polish?

Optimum polish and a white LLC pad will be fine. I am already on my second bottle of OP, tell's you how much I like it.

Here is a link I did a red ferrari with Op and a org pad, finished lsp

Optimum on a white pad will do wonders on Black!

Agree with the others, OP and a white pad will yield VERY nice results! It's the only other mild polish I'll use beside 106ff, and the only line I'll use when working in the sun.
