My sister got a dodge 200 truck camper edition but no camper its Mutual of Omaha oarnge but with out the mutual.
i used 2 bottles of #7 over a few days and the oxidation was coming off and now I am on to the polishing stage the paint is thin and an awful paint job I think its original because it's so thin.
Now nothing is getting any better unless I hit it with rotory and wool I have been using d300 and meguiars wool solo.
looks like enamel paint single stage but after that oxidation came off the paint is rock hard.
I thought the paint would be soft all the way down to the metal
any one experience this ... Thanks..

I haven't done a lot of single stage paint, but the ones I did definitely weren't soft. I got rid of the oxidation and did most of the correction with wool on a rotary and finished a DA. You're saying it's thin, are you taking into consideration there are only two layers instead of three?

Yes I usto think my scion was thin at 3.5 and this truck has 1.9 at its thinnest but when I got going the faded oarnge started to turn more red. I pulled off the emblem and found brighter color so now I am polishing to match that color

Yep, 1.9 is a little thin. What is it on the thick end? What kind of compound are you using?
