Sunday: Production Detailing

The second day of class Mike covers how to do high quality production detailing. There's a specific reason production detailing is taught AFTER show car detailing and you'll learn why in the class.

Production detailing is the bread and butter of the detailing business because there is a larger population of people that want their daily driver washed and waxed as compared to the number of people that want a show car finish on a special toy. You'll learn how to do both styles in Mike's class and you'll learn how to reduce steps and time while maintaining pro-grade results.

We did not block out any rooms at any hotels as I think that's only done for HUGE events.

I did post the below yesterday and it lists all the local hotels.

***Update***

Jesse aka Hllywd has offered us two of his personal cars for this class. I've accepted the 1967 GTO and will make the "Go" or "No Go" decision on the 1970 Monte Carlo after Yancy and I arrive to Wisconsin and have a chance to inspect the original paint.

Going to look at the paint on the Monte Carlo and see if it would be a good teaching car for the #7 Rub Down Technique.

Will make decision after I see the car in person.

Speaking of... I pulled up next to an awesome '66 Camaro SS convertible at a stoplight today and noticed the paint could use a little work. I was tempted to jump out of my car and ask the guy if he wanted to get it detailed by a world class detailing instructor next week.
