How to handle missed or stubborn spots after a wash/dry?

I usually wash my car on monday nights in my station's garage bay (closed). Thanks to good lighting I always notice spots that I either missed or, more commonly, are stubborn and didn't wash off. I might lick my thumb or use a drop of water already on the car and rub it out then wipe it clean.

I'm thinking a detailing spray might be a better idea.

In any case, how do you handle missed or stubborn spots after a wash maybe while you are drying the car?

QD spray for sure. And use it as a drying aid as you dry.
