Hi Mike,
I have been detailing for fun in my garage since 2001-ish, and I really enjoy it. Recently I became addicted to everything Auto Geek, so much so that my wife often tells me "no more Geek for you"! After contacting a rep at Auto Geek regarding coatings I selected the Pinnacle Black Label ceramic coating kit for paint, glass and wheels. My wife's brand new 2017 Jeep Wrangler JKU in Billet Silver was my test vehicle and it really turned out great, but I couldn't figure out how to post pics to AG. The Coating has been on her Jeep for several weeks now and I'd like to put wax or sealer on it to enhance depth of color and protection. I have GG BOSS Finish Sealant, Paint Sealer, One Step Sealer, Best in Show Wax, the original GG PC Random Orbital Polisher and the GG G21 to use for this job. What do you suggest? I live in Michigan and the winters can be tough so I'll likely do this very soon and again in the fall. Thank you for your help.
Dan.

i wouldn't bother putting anything over it, maybe get the boost or something but no need for a wax. And most of the ones you mention you have, have cleaners and such, wouldtn help the coating. If were you, wash and leave alone!

The below car-care product is what I'd
put over the PBL Ceramic Coating.

I'd recommend maintaining the Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Coating v2 with the Diamond Coating Detailer and Diamond Coating Booster.

I don't put anything on my coatings. Keep it clean and enjoy the benefits of a coating, one of which is not having to continually reapply a lsp.

Well the clear coat protects the base coat, the coating protects the clear coat, but what will protect the coating?!? We have to get a 7 layer paint protection burrito cooking before any real protection can be achieved!

Well maybe he wants to add the wax for looks not protection. The product page says you can do it.

I'd try a nice finishing wax to see if you like the way it looks.

Thanks for the input everybody. You're right about the looks, it looks great now but there's always better. I will likely order the Pinnacle kit, it sounds like several members are endorsing it for maintenance.

Mmmmm, seven layer burrito....Mmmmm

The pbl synergy wax is a great choice for the paint coating.

Experimentation great but si02/ceramic coatings are not compatible with wax. That's just the way it is. You can experiment all you want but it's not going to make it look better that's just a fact.

every coating is different, silica, resin based etc. so just go by what the manufacture states.

Alright I pick try a wax on this one only because pinnacle says their coating can be topped. Why? I don't know maybe its not ceramic or sio2?
