I have normally kept these on the shelf of my Florida garage, which can easily exceed 100 degrees in summer with door closed.

What's the thinking on storing this stuff in your garage? I know all the directions specify a cool, dry place, but not sure the wife is gonna groove on storing car detailing supplies in a closet.

I keep all the microfiber, pads, tire dressings, leather cleaner, etc. in the garage and I'm not too worried about that stuff.

But I have some $$ invested in those sealants and waxes.

What do you think?

I keep all my chemicals on a small shelving unit in the utility room of my home. My garage is not climate controlled, so the only things that stay out there 24/7/365 are MF towels, pads, mitts, in there storage bins. Spring and fall I will leave stuff on the bench for weeks at a time. But as soon as it starts to get hot/cold, its in the house. I am upgrading to a free standing cabinet as my shelves are full. As far as your wife, if she knows what it costs she will understand, and if she doesn't bribe her!

Keep it out of rapid temp changes and you'll be fine.

I had a few products that were exposed to extremely high and low temperatures break down. I would recommend keeping all the chemicals in the house. I bought a $30 rolling metal cart at ikea, that holds everything perfectly.

I keep almost everything except some pre-mixed rinseless wash stored indoors climate controlled these days. They're stored in sealed rubbermaid style containers to prevent any smell issues. I had issues with products getting ruined from the cold and heat in my non climate controlled garage before. I lost about $100 worth of products in a single year is the big reason I moved everything indoors. Since then, I have not had a single product ruin.

rinseless/waterless concentrates and mixtures, window cleaner, APC, interior detailer, d156 and car wash soaps all stay in the garage year round.... compound, polish and sealants have a shelf in the house.

although Optiseal has been out in the garage thus far through the heat, but I don't think the heat could mess it up right??
