I think the more important issue is your washing techniques. It all starts there. We had a good discussion of proper washing the other day. I am pasting the link here for you. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/showthread.php?t=707&highlight=washing+techniques

As far as your wax question, I would use a wax that wipes off almost dust free. Pinnacle Souveran is the best wax that I know for no dust, Signature Series also by Pinnacle as well, another excellent wax with an easier to swallow price tag would be Natty's Blue from Poorboy's World. Cultivate good washing habits and always use back and forth motions rather than circles when you apply products to the car. I hope this helps you. Good luck. :)

Always apply and remove any products at the air would flow over the car. Most of the time, this with be a front to back motion. This the same for removal and even washing and drying.
A swirling application or removal motion will cause swirling. Imagine that. LOL!

Another key to waxing....less is more.
All you need is a THIN layer to work. The paint can only absorb so much per application. NXT is the best example of this. I can barely even see it when it dries.

Hope this helps.

The best wax or paint sealant (synthetic wax) aint gonna do a thing against swirls, if you are not washing and drying your car properly.
