Hey guys I have a bottle of blackfire paint sealant from 3 years ago, had about 1/2 bottle left but it's been in the garage for 2-3 summers here in phx,AZ where the garage gets prolly around 120-130. Anyway I put a couple coats on and looked and felt great like glass. A week later look my car into the dealership and they sent it through the wash luckily I don't see any Swirls but the paint isn't smooth or glassy at all. Almost like there car wash stripped off the blackfire so I'm guessing the blackfire isn't good anymore so I tossed it. I bought COLLINITE LIQUID INSULATOR WAX #845 but I want to make sure I get off all the blackfire from two weeks back. I do have 70% alcohol can I just rub the car down with that or should I be ok just putting the colinite on the car?

Isopropyl is good but not 100% effective. If you want to be absolutely 100% sure, do a quick n dirty light polish.

Don't rub your car down with undiluted 70% isopropyl alcohol. You have to dilute it 1st, wait for someone to give you the proper advice on that...

I'm curious as well how products stored in my garage in the Phoenix area are effected by the heat.
