Mount a CR Spotless Outside??

Its seems a lot of people get the portable system with the wheels. Are they built well enough to just mount outside near the water faucet? Any reason to change out the hoses that have had extremely hard water running through them for a long time?

My garden hoses and sprayers get completely calcified over time and I don't have particularly hard tap water. I use a dedicated inlet and outlet hose with the CR, along with a dedicated spray head. I wouldn't mount it permanently outside unless you could protect if from freezing and the summer sun. Maybe in a cabinet or insulated cover?
