We bought this SUV in November. I have not had a chance until this weekend to detail it proper.

Wash - Clean Slate
Decontamination - Iron X on wheels and Nano Skin Iron remover on vehicle...also clay barred. (Gary Deans Detail Juice)
Polish - HD Speed - Griots Orange Pad with Boss 15
Hybrid Wax - HD Poxy
Plastic Trim and Wheels - Wolfgang Trim Sealant

The paint was in very good shape. Not many swirls and very hard to spot in this color paint. I went over the whole car once with HD Speed on speed 5. I let HD Poxy sit for 30 mins then I removed it. The HD products were super easy to remove. All the work was done in the garage out of the sun. This is the best the car will look. This is a daily driver family truckster for my wife and kids. Good chance they destroy it but I will do my best to keep it looking Orange as long as possible.

Thanks for peeking.

So you used an AIO then did a second step? Did you not have a true polish that you could then top? Seems counter productive using an AIO as part of a 2 step. BUT the results cant be argued with that is for sure! Pretty car

Putting on a coat of Poxy is a very small time investment after Speed and it will add months of durability and deepen the shine. The "synergism" of Speed and Poxy are why I like these two products so much.

I wanted to try HD Speed as I have read good things. I am very happy with the results and honestly HD speed was a bit easier to work with that HD Polish. Also the HD Poxy application was easy to apply and remove as well.

Winter Prep...almost a year old.

I did a quick wash, Fine Grit Auto Scrub and a layer of Collinite 845. I also hit the trim with Wolfgang Trim Sealant.

After winter I will start fresh and hit it wil HD Poxy and Collinite again. Winter is rough here. If I get a chance I may add another layer of Collinite in early December. Even though its the family hauler I will do my best to keep the paint looking mint.

So you used Nano Skin Auto Scrub - Medium and that didn't leave visible marring that needed polishing before Poxy?

Honestly I didn't look closely enough but this paint hides a lot. I did a really quick scrub with tons of lubricant. I will do a pass with HD Speed in the fall so if there is any I will remove them. This is the family SUV that is used for just about everything so I am not really picky about it. My 2 toddlers run their filthy hands on the paint all the time...I gave up yelling at them for it. Although if they touch my Challenger then they get a week in the hole. :)
