Thought I would share some detailing results on my 2008 Silverado Crew in Graystone Metallic. It has about about 117,000 miles on it.

I have the whole truck clayed but only got around to polishing and waxing the bed and tailgate. I know I'm not as skilled as some on here but thought things turned out pretty well. The paint is in great shape so it really didn't take much. I do have some very light scratches that are just in the clear (fingernail won't catch it) that I can't get out. You can't see them though unless you are at the perfect angle but they are still very faint.

I'm using the HF DA, UC, UP and UW with Lake County flat pads. I do have 105/205 but didn't seem any difference. Maybe it was my technique or pad combination. I've got orange and white pads. Thinking about going with the CCS pads to see if those make a difference.

Any pointers or getting those very light scratches out? I tried getting pictures but they wouldn't show.

The true test of my abilities will be when I get around to the '76 MGB. It's single-stage and pretty neglected.

Looks shiny; can't really see the scratches... but I've gotten scratches out of pretty much the entire length of a Murano ( maybe softer paint ) using UC... with the DA power system - smaller pad and the compounding/maroon pad.

Got around to getting the truck fully detailed on Saturday. One correction though. I went with NXT 2.0 this time instead of UW. Decided to change it up a bit since I always use UW. I ended up putting a coat of GC on top of the NXT on Sunday afternoon as well.

Here are the results. The lighting wasn't be the best as it was pretty overcast yesterday but I'm hoping to get some better shots this weekend when it's sunny.
