I have an '03 Eclipse Spyder convertible. I use 303 on the top itself (water beads great unless we get a real downpour here in S. Fl.). My Question is - What is the best or at least the most appropriate cleaner/sealer/whatever to use on the gasket material around the edges to keep them from getting stiff?

Wurth Rubber Care Gel Stick (http://www.autogeek.net/wurth-rubber-care.html)

1Z Einszett Rubber Care Stick Gummi Pflege” (http://www.autogeek.net/1z-einszett-rubber-care-stick.html)

Ive used the wurth product on body seals at a shop I worked at, very good product, wurth sells the highest grade professional shop chemicals.

There is also the 1Z Einszett offering, which I have read some people have bought, dont know how it worked out for them, but 1Z's products are decent stuff some it'll work.

If you have some 303 Aerospace Protectant, you can use that too.

If that's the same as the protectant I use on my fabric top, then I'll try it.

Thanks for the help.

Check to make sure it says "Aerospace Protectant" and not the 303 product thats specific for convertible tops.

happy to help, good luck

Works great for rubber moldings.
