My bottle of Meguiar's Supreme Shine Protectant is about to give out, so I'll want to get a new all purpose interior protectant (not for leather seats, just for anything vinyl/plastic inside the car).

I have no real problem with this product at all, and at around 8 bucks, the price was ok.

I don't really need to reproduce a new car smell, or any nice smell. This stuff I've been using doesn't have a great smell, but after a day or so it goes away. I just want something to wipe onto the plastic to make it (perhaps) less likely to attract dust, and to in some way, preserve the plastic from crumbling or cracking.

Are there better products out there, for no more than 10 bucks?

McKee's 37 Interior Surface Protectant is a multi-surface shield for your vehicle’s interior. In addition to protectants, McKee's 37 Interior Surface (http://www.autogeek.net/dp380.html)

A bit over your $10, but one bottle will last. It is a outstanding product. It has kept my interior plastics etc.. look like new for 4+ years.

Been using 303 for quite a while now on my 03 F-150 interior. Spends 24/7 outside and still no cracking or fading. Claims an industry leading SPF 40 protection. Easy to use and nice matte finish.

IMO:
Autogeek wouldn't sell any inferior
interior protectant products.

Here are a few in the price range

This is still my all time favorite. It just plain works, it looks great and it has a fresh scent to it.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll order one of these if I decide to move on from my current product.

Here's a vote for one that Bob included on his list - Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant -

Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant penetrates beyond the surface to maintain pliability and integrity of vinyl and rubber surfaces! (http://www.autogeek.net/wg2700.html)

Just received the 4 oz bottle as a freebie and was super impressed when applied to the interior of a Mazda CX-9 I detailed this weekend. Had been using the DP Interior Cleaner/Protectant combo(now McKee's 37). $25 for 16 oz may be too steep?

I have never noticed this product before(Wolfgang Vinyl and Rubber Protectant). I have been using Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant, which is more pricier.

Besides the price, do you know what the difference is between these two products?

If I can get somewhat similar results at the lower price that would be cool.

Another vote for Wolfgang Vinyl and Rubber Protectant. I used McKee's 37 Total Interior Protectant a few times but the smell was too much (like baby powder) for my nose. The Wolfgang protectant smells better in this person's opinion and is reminiscent of their leather conditioner (read: a sort of subdued spicy cinnamon tone), but scent is subjective. I'm confident that both products perform well. The decision is based in preference.

I just posted this Question again, to see if anyone might be able to answer it.

Thanku,

Gtechniq C6 Matte Dash gets my vote, right after 1z Cockpit Premium.
