View Full Version : Trouble seeing polish /compound on white camry

This white camry is taking much longer than expected.

Just got done polishing...lsp tomorrow..hopefully have some pics to share this week
..

That said..am i the only one that has problem seeing polish/compound on white car?

Its like i have to trust my product application....which ive adapted to...but still looking forward to working on the black truck...

Is it me or common issie with white cars...?

You are correct. I have a white Ram and I have to look from different angles to make sure the product is fully removed

I own a white car and a silver car and I always get a flashlight and a microfiber towel to make sure everything is off. I usually go over the car 4 times just to be sure. Lol

I am always getting white cars to detail, can't wait until a dark color car comes my way!

Not much you can do on white. I make sure to overlap and work in 2 x 2 sections. It definitely can be tricky.

Yeah.. i figured as much...hard to see white haze on a white car. Never owned one befire so never had this usse prior...its the gals car and my first time detailing it.

Im glad im on the lsp tomorrow...ill enjoy working my black truck soon.

Just read mike p.'s writeup on white paint and i now agree 100% on his article on white paint.
