I have read some post about members using a 50/50 alcohol wipe down, but I have never done that. You might want to do a search.
I used Klasse ALL-IN-ONE Klasse ALL-IN-ONE Polish 16.9 oz. (http://www.autogeek.net/klasalpolsea2.html)
:welcome: I am sure some others will give you a lot of suggetions.

You can do an ISO wipe down (alcohol/ water 50/50). Or you can simply wash it, then clay with a fine clay such as Pinnacle Poly, Mothers, or Swissvax paint rubber (I would clay). Then apply your WG sealant, following cure times, then apply your wax.

Spray waxes dont last long either way.

You only need to clay or do the ISO wipe down. Both wont be necessary in this situation. I would just clay your car. Make sure you use plenty of lube and no pressure on the clay.

Tonya and D&D took care of you :D. Give your car a nice clay and then seal, let it cure 12-24 hours depending on instructions, then apply wax.

tonya the Klasse aio is a polish right? YES, it is and it makes sure you sealant bonds well. I dont want to polish right now I just want to put some sealant and wax OK, but read below
Well... you really should do some prep work before you use a sealant. If you don't your sealant might not bond well. Plus, you will be applying it over contaminates (tiny particles stuck in your clear coat) So as D&D said you should clay, then use the ALL-IN-ONE, then your sealant, then your wax. I will get you a link.

Why don't you want to do anything before you apply the sealant. Is it cold where you live?

Ok.. that is what I figured. Old man winter is knocking on your door. Hold tight until some others post. I am not sure what you should do. I am worried you are going to have some curing issues with the temp being so low. Hang on someone will be here soon. Do you have a heater for your garage?

I would prep it right. I would use a paint cleanse like Four Star Ultimate PreWax Cleanser to be even better base for the WDGPS. KAIO is also excellent...
