View Full Version : How do you remove dried concrete from Paint??

As the title says, a client called and he said the car has dried concrete on the paint, never encountered this before, any advice??

You need acid.
I have used Stoner's Tarminator and a plastic Razor on some small spots to remove concrete. I have also read a mixture of Sugar and water can be used never tried it though.

Thanks Bob, I couldn't remember the name of that stuff to save my life. I've never used it and I wasn't' even sure they still made it, that's why I didn't bring it up in the first place.

Most acids dissolve concrete. I'm guessing you'd be there a long time trying to get it off with vitamin C or milk.
I would use the Step 2 from the Finish Kare decon kit if they still sold it here. I believe that was oxalic acid.
