Hey guys. A customer called me with some spilled waterbased paint on their carpet. Was just wondering if there is a good way to get rid of it or if I should just suggest they get it reupholstered. Thanks!

If it is wet and kept wet, you have a chance with a Tornador, extractor, soap and water. If allowed to dry it may be unrecoverable. Depending on color/chemical makeup, it may be unrecoverable already.

That's what I was thinking. Is there anything to do for dry paint?

I've used alcohol to remove latex paint off of carpet. It was dry but not real old.

Windsheild Washer Fluid if it is Latex Paint.

I had some on my leather jacket from when was painting a wall and didn't notice for few days.

Put some on rag and let dwell for 5 minutes and it came right off.
