I was wondering if wheel brightener can be used on fleet rigs that ship skids/pallets. Im pretty sure they are the typical alcoa truck wheel. Family has some trucks and I thought Id pass it along for them only if it would work

Do not use on polished aluminum or pitted clear coated wheels. Caution them on using a wheel acid.

I would just use a mild detergent like dish soap with a soft brush.Using a acidic will etch and dull them out.Using acid on those wheels would be a great platform before polishing them.

As the others have said, not advisable. Both low and high ph cleaners will etch bare aluminum. You're better off using car wash soap and a soft wheel brush or mitt.

Color changing wheel cleaners i.e. DUB Wheel Cleaner, Pinnacle Advanced Wheel Cleaner, Mckee's Foaming Wheel Cleaner Gel, Griots Garage Wheel Cleaner and Meguiars Mirror Bright Wheel Cleaner are perfectly safe to use on bare aluminum wheels such as those.
