Ive been using 601 and 105 on alot of my details lately and have gotten great results, but i normally wipe the whole car down with a QD [QS or 425]when im done can i still do this or will it impact the curing process?

typically with sealants you should allow several hours prior to using any product that contains water. While I doubt it will hurt, usually best to allow longest curing time possible.

Most sealants need a 8 to 12 hour cure time for the most durability, so they say.

AW needs to cure about a day, next day looks are like bling bling. I'd wipe down then, not before.

If anything wipedown might harm it, AW looks so good by itself I wouldn't bother.

I had the same question so I called Duragloss and here is what the owner said...#105 is a stand alone product...can you put wax over it if you want...but it might affect it's durability...

I would wait a day before appling any thing on top of 105...I have done it sooner and seen it does effect the final outcome of 105....most QD's contain some alcohol so it may effect uncured sealants..also water which can dull the final look....best to let any sealant fully cure before applying any thing on top...

I have made the mistake before and learned...so I wait now....

i read that 105 can be recoated in an hour if you use 601 under it. so in your case by using the 601 you did speed up the curing so the QD may hv done no harm.

Wouldnt touch the car before the day after, just a quick wipe over with a MF as a "grand finale" should work well..

I was wondering the same thing Mixxer...(rep that SVTperformance son)
Its really the only thing i dont like about using 105, i have to wait 12 hours to cure but 105 rocks so i cant complain.

Don't do a final wipe right away. Let it cure for 12 hours, then do a final wipe (if it's your vehicel for max durability).
