So i took a ride with a good friend of mine to look at the 2017 Zo6. corvette.
My buddy was gonna special order it but was told he couldn't order that model without
having the ceramic brakes. And that was a 7500 dollar option that he did not want to deal with
having those type of Brakes. so i basically knew from this forum you have to be careful
of what kind of wheel cleaners you use on these type of brakes, but never herd that you cant use any type
of tire shine on the tires. This is what the sales men there said. Just curious if anyone here has any input on that.

TIRE ALTERATIONS
Do not make or allow to be made
any alterations on your tires.
Alterations may prevent proper performance,
leading to tire damage which can result in
an accident.

Tires which become unserviceable
due to alterations such as:
truing, whitewall inlays, addition of
balancing or sealant liquids,

or the use of tire dressings
containing petroleum distillates,

are excluded from warranty coverage.
