I bought 2 of these! Is it overkill??? I have only opened 1 of them.

I purchased a set of these lights in the spring, and find them very adequate. Before I tried these I bought a different set, from a different box store, and they didn't last 8 hrs. Just went up in smoke.
These are working fine with over 40 hours on them.
Remember not to touch the bulbs at all, the oil in your hands will eventually make them fail. An IPA wipe will make them good as new. Enjoy!

I'm just trying see if I should take the other one back. The one that I'm using puts out alot of light on the second setting.

IMO one set puts out PLENTY and heats up the garage alot. Two sets would prolly give you a sun tan. But I guess if you didnt feel like moving them you could put one set on each side of your car. I recently bought a simalar set myself-love them!

I have a Sears brand with only one light but seems to work for me. Read some horror stories about them but so far so good. It was only $10 so if it goes out I go to get another one for cheap.

i got mine at home depot... it has 2 250 Watt bulbs, lean/tilt lights, and an adjustable height for the tripod.. the only thing is the tripod only goes about 3 feet? =/

im just gonna go get the HD one that has 2 500 Watt bulbs with everything else and also with a taller tripod, but for 25 bucks.. cant beat it
