Long time reader, first time posting. My car was recently rear ended and in the bodyshop getting repaired. How long should I wait before applying Wolfgang ceramic coating on it? I'm picking it up this week and want to put some protection on it as soon as possible. Also, there shouldn't be much prep work needed should there be? I was thinking just a wash and dry.

This has been covered to death since the early days of car care. The paint needs to off gas "allow solvents to evaporate from the paint". To properly do this the paint should be bare "no wax, sealant, coating, ect" for a month. After a month just wash, ironX, clay, polish out imperfections, and then coat it.
