Hey guys i am using ceramic coatings such as Cquartz on a regular basis and these suede applicator cloths are great quality but are pricey.

Just wondering if there are more cost effective alternatives rather than purchasing the official suede applicator cloths from CarPro.

Those applicators cloths can be expensive like you stated, especially if you do a lot of cars. I ceramic coat a lot of vehicles and sometimes I run out of cloths. I would use a microfiber applicator like this one ( https://www.detailersdomain.com/collections/microfiber-towels-applicators/products/uber-yellow-wax-applicator-pad ). Damp the cloth first and then each application, drop 3-4 drops depending on the panel you are doing. After using the pads, dunk them in apc and rinse before the coating hardens on the pad so you can use it again. Hope this helps

You should be working material cost into your jobs. They are definitely not a pricey item in my opinion. Buy them in large packs from CarPro US.

Just like how you initially saturate the cloth with the quartz in the beginning, saturate the microfiber with quartz. But like Carolina said, buy them in bulks!

I do a ton of CQuartz myself and have actually never purchased the smaller suede applicators, I just get the large suede towels and cut them to fit the CarPro applicators. Way more cost effective.

Yep...can get 16 x 16 for around $2.75 and start cutting.

Or I just use the block sometimes depending on the brand you are using and make sure I wash it done right after the coating.

Would those eye glass cleaning cloths work? They are suede.
