My wife got a hold of my recent purchase of Meguiars Perfect Clarity Glass Cleaner. She says it is the best she has ever used in the kitchen for glass, stainless and granite. She has already gone through most of the bottle and I haven't yet used it on the cars. Is this product the same as the concentrated D-120, or is it a different formula? If she is going to be using a lot of it, I should probably get a gallon.

Either way it is not a problem. When she sees the PBMG boxes arriving on the porch on a weekly basis, I can just tell her 'stocking up on more glass cleaner.'

A gallon of D120 will yield you 11 gallons and that should last awhile.

If you look up both MSDS sheets they have the same two main ingredients.

I tried using the 1:20 dilution ration for D120, and for me, works the same as 1:10 dilution ration. So I guess I have 22 gallons now :).

Where did the extra gallon come from?

What is:

d120 isn't bad but i like the perfect clarity better. before that megs had the nxt glass cleaner which was great as well and the perfect clarity replaced it. i rarely use a dedicated glass cleaner these days and mainly for the interior windows. you should try mixing up some ONR or the alike and try using that on glass and see how you like it. stoners IG works well too...

Try 1Z Glass Cleaner and you may never want to buy any other glass cleaner. It even cuts through hardened tree sap and is streak free. It is the strongest Glass Cleaner I have ever found and here in Georgia I need something that cuts through sap and bugs easily.

Perfect Clarity is very good on glass.

it is not the best surface cleaner on plastic or vinyl I have ever used, just ok at best.
On main difference between Perfect Clarity and D120 is on is RTU and the other is concentrate.
The scent is different with Perfect Clarity being much better.
The shine and reflection of Perfect Clarity is much better as well.

D120 is very popular in the detail world.

I am not a fan of it, but many are.
Who knows, maybe my batch was not up to spec.
My D120 is gone now, so I have the luxury to test many different glass cleaners.
Good luck with it and let us know how the D120 works out for you.

Andy, please pass on to your wife my thanks for the tip. I never considered using that on the stainless, but will probably clean the kitchen more often knowing I can just go grab this out of the garage!

I always get a bottle of the Perfect Clarity in a Megs gift set at Christmas. Free stuff is cool, and it works great to boot.

I'm almost out now though. I didn't get a set this past Christmas.
