Looking for something to help protect against brake dust and allow the wheel to be cleaned easier but not add gloss to the wheel. I have dlux here but I believe that will add gloss.

The wheels are matte finished

Gloss Coat works. Gyeon has their matte specific coating.

I have matte black wheels on my Tundra and have been using Hydro2 to seal them. Doesn't make them shiny at all, but it does "richen" the look of them.

Any wheel protection isn't going to last very long. The heat produced will shorten the life pretty quickly.

The Matte care products offerings
from Dr. Beasley's Car Care (http://www.autogeek.net/dr-beasleys-car-care.html) won't
add gloss.

Even if Dlux added gloss to a matte wheel it would only be a satin final.
It's not like you will be leveling the finish.

What's the longevity you-all are Finding on wheel coatings? Are they worth using?

I like the coating on wheels better than I do on the car and I like it on my car

It makes you giggle they clean up so easy.

I use Gloss Coat on my satin/matte bronze whatever MB weapon wheels(winter) and hypersilver TSW summers.
The Gloss Coat didn't really do much for shine on the matte wheels except for make them maybe glow
The only stubborn thing might be tar but even that isn't a problem to clean.

I didn't have to coat them again after a season but why not when they are off.
