Hey all,

I have a open bottle of CQuartz Dlux, it has been open for a year or so, maybe longer. I have read it expires, but what actually happens? Does it not actually bond, or set up? It is tight in the bottle, hasn't froze, or been exposed to extreme temperatures. Tomorrow is going to be in the 70's and I thought I would recoat my summer wheels getting ready for a swap out when temps are stable above freezing.

Thanks

I have an unopened bottled that "expired" on Nov 2016, wondering the same question.

If it has not crystallized then give it a try.

As long as it has not gelled, you are good to go, IMO.

Er...or crystallized...as long is it's still in it's normal watery state, and not gelled or crusty, it should be fine.

Mines expired and crusty around the cap. I still use it and it works just fine.

I looked at the bottle, looks fine, I didn't take the cap off though, I will wait till I am actually going to use it. Should be tomorrow, I will let you know.

55545I used this on wheels and trim, seems just fine. It seems to be setting up, and coming off like normal. It looks like the expiration date was 6/10/16. Cleaned, polished, coated.
