I'm overdue for a wash and I've been trying to think of a good way to clean my Sorento's undercarriage of salts and other gunk.
I usually have used Simple Green full strength, let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse it off. However, I've recently read that the Simple Green might accelerate corrosion with some type of metals. I certainly don't want that. So, maybe dilute the Simple Green or use something else?
Any insight would be appreciated!

Almost any APC should work fine, I've even used dish soap in a foam gun to clean the underneath of my cars ... the ones I didn't have undercoated.

Do you own or have access to a pressure washer?

I don't own a pressure washer, but do have access to a coin-op one down the street from my house.

Have you tried that?

Use a quality apc. (not simple green)
Simple green like others are made to dilute, so you diluting it probably isn't gonna help much.

What makes a "quality" APC different from Simple Green/diluted Simple Green?

pick up a gallon of d101, it's versatile and you can use it to clean just about any/everything. it won't break the bank either...

You'll do well with D101. I would start off by diluting it 1:1 when working on the undercarriage. If that dosent work you can move up to full strength.

How does D101 compare to D108?

Ken,
That's kinda neat! I've seen people use lawn sprinklers to similar effect :)
