I have been saving these types of plastic bags with the heavy plastic, zippers and handles to carry pads and applicators. The bags originally held things like electric blankets, cosmetics, etc. These sturdy, clear bags are awesome for a mobile detailer!

I keep my MF towels in a bunch of those zippered bags. My wife has replaced all sorts of sheet sets, comforters etc over the past few years and I keep the bags for my towels. GREAT idea.

i like threads like this. I also like the idea of using those bags!!

I bought about half-dozen CD cases for my 5.5" pads, and some other plastic cases for other size pads. Found them at one of those 99 cent type stores, but they were like 3$ or maybe 5$ for the bigger ones.

Kirk
right on. I've been using those type bags for years, for all sorts of things. my wife knows to save them & always throws them my way.

Kirk, I used to do the same, and still have some for my nicer microfiber towels as well.

I also label baggies to hold applicators I use often. Like for Optimum Plastic & Leather Protectant, Ultima Tire & Trim Guard, and one for my tire shine applicators.

I love seeing how creative detailers are. I personally love using standard sized milk crates which perfectly fits 32-40 pads sized 5.5 and 6 inch. Buff and shine standard 5.5 flats or Uro-cell and Uro-tec 6 inch pads are nearly all I use and I am extremely anal-retentive when it comes to storing my pads so they do not get smash/deformed.

Similar to you, I like these xl large heavy plastic zip lock bags to keep my towels organized. They come in a 2pk. at the 99 cent store.

Pretzel stick containers work well and are the perfect size for 5-5.5" pads. Coffee cans work too, but not see through.
