I haven't watched the videos and I know how important it is to be open to new ideas...

That said... this would seem to be a case of taking something very simple and overcomplicating it.


Or another way of saying this would be to take the simple practice of washing and waxing a car and turning it into Rocket Science.

Can't you use heat to correct some clear coat issues? I think I remember something about that.

IMO:
A person needs a whole bunch of
(good)Luck, when trying to re-flow
cured isocyanate-based paints.

Agreed. I think that this had to do more about "fogged" clear coat. But I may have dreamed it!
