I detailed her husbands corvette last month. So he wanted his wifes to bling also.

The crossfire had two bird bomb etchings. One on the hood and the other on the trunk lid. And the normal spider-webbing too. The owner really wanted those off the car, and now they are bye-bye.

Interior
Wiped down dash/door panels/console with DP Interior Surface Protectant. Vac carpets, vents, seat crevices. Cleaned leather/conditioned with Leatherique Prestine Clean.

Wheel and Tires
Z-7 car wash and the 16' deep reach wheel brush and a reg wheel brush. Tires were coated with Surf city Black Tire Pro.

The gameplan
For the the bird etching I took out the DeWalt with a wool pad. One dab of 3M extra cut/with a dab of Optimum polish. For the rest of the finish I used the PC and same combo. This combo leaves the finish ready for the final step, even on black.
For the final I went with DP Premium Surface Shield Paint sealent. After applying DP I went and did the windows. And dressed the tires also wiping any remaining brake dust off the rims I had missed.

Ya gotta love DP sealant. Goes on super easy, comes off even easier! Leaves the finish slick and glossy. Nice job.:buffing:

Great looking detail. Another guy here for DP Sealant. I can't get my eyes off how clean that cloth top came out. Did you use anything special on it?

I first vaccumed the top, then washed it. After it dried I used tape to pull off and dust or lint. I did not spray 303 fabric on it since it was beading very good.

I wear a rubber glove to keep my hand clean. And have a old round terrycloth app I use to apply the tire shine. I have found this to be the best way to apply it

Love those cars! Great job, do you use tape strips? Lint roller works great too.

The old fashion way, just rap the roll a few times around my hand. Thats my lint roller:D

Always impressive work. She looks outstanding...DP is some nice stuff and so easy to use...
3M dose it dust? If it dose, do you rewash or blow the dust off?

Yes 3M extra cut will dust, and can haze up the paint. So I add Optimum Polish and the haze is gone, and almost no dust. The glass gets most of the dust on it. And it is last step ready
