i have yet to find myself a interior cleaner i really like. so far i have tried megs, mothers,cg. mothers does a nice job at cleaning but leaves a oily finish and i find cg must be scented water because it cleans nothing just leaves a nice scent. So i am in the market to find something new.

I like diluted APC such as Meguiars D101@10:1. Finishes like a light duty cleaner would [if sprayed onto a towel in order to wipedown surfaces] but can also clean just about any mess it runs into at that same dilution. Has a light clean scent that doesn't linger.

For light duty cleaning, I really like Meguiars Natural Shine. Leaves a nice matte finish, not oily, very light scent. I switch to Griots Garage interior cleaner when it's a little dirtier. I've also used D101 at 10:1 for general interior cleaning with decent results.

My favorites from lighest to strongest duty:

ONR at rinseless dilution
Ultima Waterless Wash +
Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer
Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel
CarPro Inside

**Last 2 are probably tied. I like Inside for really nasty leather

How does Meguiars APC@10:1 compare to those last 2?

Hmmm....from memory...probably comparable. I rarely use an APC to be perfectly honest with you. I use steam more than any of these cleaners nowadays.

I like 3D orange cleaner diluted 10/1 for interiors. I have to add I just tried Blackfires interior cleaner sample, and was impressed.

I use Griots interior cleaner as well and also Griots 3-1 Leather conditioner for the seats. Some may not like the smell of the leather conditioner but to me it smells like a new leather smell which is nice. Its given good results so far but my interior never gets real dirty either. For the carpets, I use an extractor with (can't remember the name) some basic carpet cleaner. Im actually in the market for some hydrophobic carpet spray to help in the winter. Around now is when my carpets get the worst from salt of shoes, water, dirt, etc. so trying to find something that repels a lot of that between cleanings.

How about Optimum Power Clean

Simple Green or 1Z Cockpit cleaner works a treat at getting rid of oily finger prints

nice matt finish plus has some UV blockers in there. =)

Sonax dashboard cleaner for me if it's a car I've been maintaining.

APC on first time interiors.

Sometimes even 1z plastic cleaner on terrible spots.

All IMO.

I'm a big fan of 303 Aerospace on my truck and my wife's car. I'll used dilluted APC, first, if a vehicle is moderately/heavily soiled.

Just using Sonax Dashboard cleaner and I like it. Smells good and leaves a nice matte finish. No oily residue. If anything it leaves the surface a bit tacky feeling kinda like their BSD on paint.
