Hey gang,
Gotta rant here.

So I am ALWAYS looking for my next ride. Yes, I have 1 year and 9 months left on my lease, but it's never too early (in my book) to start planning for the next ride.

I'd really like to simplify things and go down to 1 vehicle... but I'd like something I can drive all year and not have to worry too much about some snow and bad weather.

SO! My ideal vehicle is the following....

1. AWD... I'm on that band-wagon (love it or hate it).
2. A Coupe. Sorry, but I don't have a family, I do not need and do not want 4 doors.

So you would think with only 2 stipulations it would be easy to find a car and the market would be flooded with choices, right?
NO! My rant is.... how hard is it to find a 2 door AWD car?????? VERY HARD.
And when I actually find one, it's expensive. VERY expensive.

Damn car makers!

Any suggestions here from people of manufacturers to look at?

LOL! You sound just like me, though I only have 8 months left on my current lease.

While I want a coupe too, I will consider a sedan if it meets my other criteria.

The current list.

BMW M240ix
Audi S3
MB C43
MB CLA45
Infiniti Q60 Redsport
Alfa Romeo Giulia

Possible considerations
WRX
Golf R
New Kia Stinger

My wife recently picked up an off lease CPO MB E350 4Matic Coupe. If you'd consider buying used, check out the 2015 E400 4Matic Coupe. She LOVES hers! :)

Maybe the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe will be out by the time your lease is up, rumor has it may be offered in awd.

Then there's always the Audi A5 LOL :props:

Monica, knowing you through the forum I'm first going to subscribe to this thread:dblthumb2:

Now onto the car, its quite difficult to find you a car that fits YOU and your personality, based off of the vibe I get here and through PM's over the years. Now I know you said you don't want or need a 4 door but can I interest you in a 5 door, LOL!

I think this car fits you to a T Monica, look for a CPO and go for it!

Can't wait to see what Monica says about all this info. I know this, I was waaaaaaaay off when I guessed her current car that replaced the MINI.

I do know Monica is "concentrated awesomeness" and because of that I would also suggest this, a FiST. No it's not AWD and yeah it's a 5 door but a set of steelies and snow tires aren't that much money and they will get your though the winter AND keep wear and tear off of your 3 season set up. The Recaros in that car would cradle her and the cars hardcore attitude would compliment Monica very well!

I think the Golf R is a great option. Newer versions have 4 doors, but like the RS or other hot hatches, it doesn't have the same persona as a sedan.

While not AWD, have you given any thought to a Focus ST or even a Fiesta ST? Smaller cars, total hoot to drive. Interiors won't stand up to a Golf R./GTI, but overall they are good in their own right.

Don't know what you've looked at, or your budget but how about:
- Audi TT or TTS
- Audi A5 or S5
- Infiniti G37x coupe

Unfortunately the combination of AWD and coupe are difficult to come by. Typically the makers of a coupe are going one of two directions a simple, light, inexpensive, tossable car; or a focused performance car/GT coupe. The first case often results in a FWD car based on the platform of another car in the stable, and the second a RWD coupe/sports car in some fashion. Adding AWD, even more system like Haldex goes against both those philosophies.
